“Free the mind” workshop -
doodle art and watercolour paints
What
- An easy, fun, mind freeing workshop incorporating doodles and (if desired) watercolour paint.
- About 2 hours (flexible based on your need).
- No previous experience needed, no wrong results.
- Basic instructions provided, guidance as needed.
- Ideas and samples supplied for inspiration.
- All materials provided - leave the workshop with a card to keep or giveaway or a frame-able watercolour piece (or both).
Why
- Doodling has several benefits:
• It relieves stress. Let your mind wander and take a break from heavy thoughts.
• It can express tough emotions. Let a scream or a tear come through your fingers on to the paper and let the emotion go.
• It builds creativity and spontaneity. Tap into the child that still lives in you.
• It improves memory. Many studies have found that people who doodle while listening to a lecture or even a telephone message are able to retain more information through keeping their minds engaged. It’s a practice you can take away with you.
- Watercolours are fun and easy to use and adding colour can enhance the emotions or just add visual appeal.
